June 27

Happy six months to us! I think that means we are no longer newly weds... right? Today we went on a date. Ryan and I went to IHOP and had a fab breakfast/lunch and then we headed to beautiful downtown Milwaukee and walked around Milwaukee's public museum, we had a delightful time. We drove over to the lake and walked around the park nearby for a bit and then we came back home so that Ryan could get some work done. :)

There is something amazing about words. How you can read a book and just fall into another world and get so involved and happy when it isn't even real, it's amazing.

Best Day of the Year

Well actually it was yesterday but 24 years ago yesterday my fabulous husband was born! It was such a cool thing for me to be able to think a year ago today I wished that I could be here for Ryan's birthday and today I was (or rather yesterday). Anyways I love him and am so glad that he was born. :)
yeah for birthdays!

relaxation time.

So on Sunday Ryan and I found some things that we enjoyed doing for a little relaxation time. Ryan replanted some little trees we had into one pot, and put the sunflower we are growing (curtsy of our neighbors' messy bird feeders.) and my new tomato plant (from RS the lesson was on provident living) in a pot together. (I am so excited for tomatoes I hope they grow fast!)

I made homemade tortillas and had amazing fajitas. yum yum. I got the recipe from Homesick Texan (for the tortillas). Ryan fixed the chicken. It was so good. I think he used a taco seasoning and a little bit of stir fry seasoning from different little packets. Anyways Ryan is good at flavoring meats. :) I also now have a different blog from another cook I read. This one I got off a friends blog it's really good-step by step on how to cook items.

week after week

It seems like every week a different thing pops up. Happy drama, sad drama, annoying drama, etc. This week we thought that we might move to Austin for the rest of the summer and work out there. Austin is like my dream city. But turns out we will make just the same amount of money here (maybe who really knows with these things?) without the added stress that would come with going there, so we are not going. But for a moment Ryan and I both felt closer to home with the thought of going to Austin-oh well.

Scary Dreams

So last night I dreamed that Ryan and I were climbing through these backyards through old gates and stuff. It must have been fall because there were lots of leaves and brownness. Anyway in my dream Ryan was helping me up this wall and through a gate and on the tree nearby there was a huge ugly spider kind of like a brown recluse (which will kill you) and a tarantula (which are big and scary) mixed together- (which is really scary). Ryan told me I would be fine but to just be careful. So I trust my husband and come towards him- only for another spider to be on the gate! I fall and so does the spider (my fall was cool I did like a back flip twist thing but then landed on my back instead of smashing the spider as planned). So in real life I start breathing funny and shacking-hello these spiders can kill you of course I was freaking out, I was about to die, anyways my husband saved the day- he woke me up- my hero!

Ryan was talking in his sleep last night- he told me to call him if I had any problems- problems with what? With the install or system I don't remember perfectly but point is too much work that's for sure.

We are on week 10 of 21 almost halfway done with work, almost my last semseter of college, almost have to grow up!

Applebee's

I looked on the Applebee's website to get you a picture of the best chicken ever and I could not find it. Sad. Anyways Saturday night Ryan was working late but a few of the SR (sales reps) invited me to go to Applebee's with them so I did. It was so fun, we all told jokes and laughed and really enjoyed each other's company. Ryan showed up not too long after we arrived and joined in on the fun. Nicci and I split this great dish. It had amazing mashed potatoes, great chicken-with fresh diced tomatoes and I think some cheese (anyways it was so good!) and a side of asparagus I loved it- it must have been fresh cause they cooked it and it was to die for-not really but it was good. So there is my plug for Applebee's.

I'd never been before but I would not mind going again.
