Mission Calls
Ryan's brother got his mission call at the same time but waited a few days for us and his parents to come so we could be there when he opened it. Tommy waited until all his local relations could be there so that was about 5 pm.
After Church
Waiting
Cuddling with Uncle Jordan!
I love Uncle Dennis' face as he reads over Tom's shoulder.
Ryan is such a sneaking one he decided that we would only go to sacrament and since the ward we wanted to go to does primary first we went later than everyone. I ran next door and made a quick bow tie for Landon (since I forgot to pack a tie for him.). And while Ryan was alone he steam opened the mission call! He typed up a fake mission call to Greenland! Then before he opened it teased him that what if he was called there..
Puzzle Time
When my mom was here we had a bit of fun. One day I pulled out a bunch of puzzles. apparently Landon needs to practice because taking pictures of him puzzling was hilarious; his face was all over the place! He was so pleased when he finally got it.
4th of July
Happy 4th of July on the Yakima!
My brother decided to try and swim to the front of the bridge supports; which ended up being a battering ram when all the bad floaters slammed into him. Luckily he wasn't badly hurt we were a little worried from our viewing point.
We went out and watched a few different firework shows all from one spot.
Then we had some fun with sparklers! It was a great fourth and we got to share it with my mom and brother.
#3
I was induced on June 25th. It was a very slow day. We walked and walked for a very long time and not much happened. I was contracting very close together so they couldn't give me much induction medication so we just waited. At 7 pm they suggested that I might have to go home. I asked them to check me one more time and I was at a 3 so the doctor broke my water and in an hour I went from a 3 to ready to push! He was born at 8:45pm.
My heaviest baby at 8 lbs and 7 ounces and a half inch shorter than Carter at 20.5 inches long .
My visiting teacher gave me this cute hospital gown it fit much better and made me feel a million times cuter.
Landon said "I love our Baby!" over and over again.
All our nurses were awesome!
And our baby ended up with a name. Brycen Benjamin and it's name we love! We are so blessed and happy together. And we are so grateful to our friends that watched our boys while we were in the hospital.

Uncle Jordan
A few weeks ago Ryan's brother Jordan was passing through Washington. We drove up to his driving route to have lunch with him and his girlfriend on their way back to Rexburg. Our boys were loving spending time with Jordan. They almost didn't let him sit next to his girl. :) Ryan picked a great restaurant overlooking Moses Lake; he even picked me an awesome salad. We love spending time with family, just wish we had some closer to see more often. Thanks for letting us meet up with you Jordan! We can't wait to do it again.
Baby #3 update
I am a little sad these pictures are all shadowy but oh well.
Overall feeling? Very large.. :) I certainly am feeling like an old lady. My legs hurt and I totally waddle.
Total Weight Gain/Loss? haha.. certainly not losing weight but I am not too worried about shedding all the weight very soon.
Cravings? Nothing really, I think I have always been a cereal girl so that still holds true.
Name? We have a large list but nothing picked yet. "The baby" is what we say for now. :)
Sleep? I am usually awake around 5 am which is also sunrise time so not sure if it's just bc I am almost done and getting to the sleepless stage or if it's because despite our curtains and blinds it's still too bright for me. We like total darkness when we sleep.
Crazy weird things? On Sunday (same day as 35 week picture) I wore a different dress to church but I was told that I looked like I was 6 months along. I said "no. you are not remembering" (bc if this is small then I don't want to be big!) I swear I have never been this big before my skin is almost done!
Coolest thing? We almost have everything ready and it's just around the corner. I am starting to get excited! I read a post my sister-in-law shared from Ana White about the first few years being hard but how it is so worth it in the end. I started picturing our family down the line hanging out and I am so excited to see how much fun we will be!

more Tommy
Carter LOVES this Minotaurus Lego Game he has spent hours playing with it; changing the rules and making up his own game. He is very creative- certainly the best $3 toy purchase ever.
Landon is into making crazy faces.
Tommy and the boys read some books together and then shared King Bidgood's in the Bathtub with Brynn it is on our top ten favorite children's book list.
And then they left. We sure do love Uncle Tommy time and can't wait until we get to have him over again.
Uncle Tommy Comes! Day 2
Since I was 29 weeks pregnant when Tommy was here our usual plan of hiking was out. Still wanting to have a great time we borrowed a canoe from some neighbors and explored some islands near where the Yakima joins the Columbia. Still outside but a little less strain on me. It was so much fun.
Landon found a bunch of rollie pollies bugs
Tommy's shirt says "It's easier to go down a hill than up it, but the view from the top is better"
On the next island we ate the lunches that Brynn and I made for everyone. We ate standing up so of course I spilt all over myself; the lovely pregnant belly is often in the way.
29 weeks
The after lunch nap; the thick grass was too inviting and we all laid down for a bit.
Day 2 was awesome with Tommy. We were so lucky that the days he came the weather was perfect.
Uncle Tommy Comes!
Uncle Tommy was traveling back to school and luckily we were kind of on the way. He was giving a ride to Brynn so we certainly wanted to show them both a good time. At our favorite park we did a little rock climbing and while the boys played on the playground we played Bocce Ball. Ryan found a spider to show the kids under the dock so they got a closer look. Those are some nice looking bums.
We also stopped by the little art museum as we headed out for some tasty cupcakes and then Ryan picked up some sushi to share. I think Day 1 with Tommy was fun. I wish we had taken a few more pictures.

Juniper Dunes Wilderness Area
Juniper Dunes is not far from our home in Washington. It is the Northern most home for Juniper Trees in the United States. Ryan often goes to offroad with some buddies here. This time we went as a family and crossed the gate into the protected area for a hike. It was a perfect day, cloudy and warm, but not too warm. We didn't manage to get our crew all the way to the heavily treed area but we still had fun.
24 weeks pregnant
Rolling down a sand dune.
I climbed this! I think I might be crazy.
And they are both smiling! :)
..
Carter used his birthday money to buy a hydration backpack. He really wanted an orange one (his newly decided favorite color) but the blue one fit his small body better.
